Soleil d'Or

For the bride who glows. Soleil d'Or is cut from fluid ivory silk georgette and overlaid full length with hand-sewn gold thread embroidery. The sunburst motifs are placed by hand so they grow denser and warmer as they descend — champagne at the bodice, deep gold at the hem — which makes the gown read as a slow sunrise when the light moves across it. Thin spaghetti straps and a soft V-neck keep the weight of the embroidery visually light.
